According to Ayurveda, milk decoctions with ashwagandha, dates, gourds, garlic, moong dal and cow’s milk can be also take twice or thrice a week for better functioning of our brains irrespective of age factor. Usually, we are over cautious about our heart health and hardly care for brain. It shouldn’t be done. We need to focus equally on heart and brain concurrently. For smoother and healthier function of brain, the quantity of antioxidants and omega – 3 fatty acids needs to be increased subsequently depending upon one’s overall health.

A plate of salad a day and eggs are a good combination for an overall good health. Also, our intake of sufficient quantity of fresh fruits should form a part of our everyday diet irrespective of weather and place. The basic mantra for a healthy brain is simple; stay active, reduce your stress levels, talk to people more and take adequate sleep of at least 8 hours a day to stay protected from diseases while keeping your brain active and fit.

Some other highly protein enriched foods in the form of Avocado, Beets, Broccoli and walnuts could be wonderful for a fully active and stimulant brain. As we age, we need to ensure the proper functioning of our brains too. In order to get a healthier brain, we have to consume a milieu of substances on regular basis to ensure that brain cells remain active and fine. Vitamin A, K, C, Folate, Fiber and antioxidants are some necessary ingredients that keep human brain free from all diseases.

In 2038 Your Brain May Be Directly Connected to Wifi

Eric Leuthardt, a professional surgeon believes that soon doctors will be able to insert electrodes into human brains to facilitate its direct conversation with computers. The 44-year-old scientist and brain surgeon is working as a neurosurgeon at Washington University in the United States. He has two published novels to his credit alongside a famous play focusing on the society’s metamorphosis.

In his recent play REDDEVIL, around 90% of people will undergo hardware implant into their brains to facilitate a seamless connectivity between humans and robots (computers). It will become successful after experiencing a lot of sensory experiences. He openly confessed that he cut people open for experiments and surgeries or treatment. It’s not that much difficult for him.

He believes by the next 10 to 20 years, humans brains will be able to work seamlessly with computers through internal wifi system. Last year, Elon Musk launched Neuralink and SpaceX aiming to create equipment for mind-machine synchronization. Leuthardt is also exploring similar opportunities within his capacity as a brain surgeon.

However, these research studies are only at their initial stage now. A lot of more experiments and studies are needed to accomplish the dream of connecting brain to computer via wifi. Facilitating communication process between machines to human brain is literally unimaginable but credit goes to scientists who are working round the clock on this particular subject. Leuthardt believes that 20-year time frame is enough to bring imagination into reality. 

The debate and practical scientific experiment on brain-computer interfaces began in 1980, when an engineer Georgopoulos of Johns Hopkins, largely stressed upon this sensitive topic. He observed neurons in the higher-level processing areas of the motor cortex that fired prior to specific kinds of movement—such as a flick of the wrist to the right, or a downward thrust with the arm.

Eric Leuthardt has found considerable skeptics too. They feel that electrodes would yield enough information to control a prosthetic. For further research, Leuthardt found that his patients demonstrated capacity to moving a virtual spaceship right and left by thinking. Currently, Leuthardt is conducting his study and research on 12 bedridden epilepsy patients at a hospital in the US. He guided these patients to speak loudly the words like bet, bat, beat and etc visually on computer screen for seamless identification of incoming sensory signals in the brain.

The software used for this project works on patter recognition algorithms. One electrode produces around 1000 readings each second. When smaller is the population of neurons in comparison to electrode, better will be the chance for detecting meaningful patterns. Leuthardt has also floated a company NeuroLutions to smoothen out his experiment on devices that link mind and machine and help people in the coming days.

It could be highly beneficial for stroke patients who can now communicate with the world using brain-computer connectivity link. The device basically consists of brain-monitoring electrodes that sit on the scalp and are attached to an arm orthosis. It can actually help a patient regain independent control over the limb, faster and in an efficacious manner. The device can be used sans any brain surgery. At present, around 700,000 stroke patients are in the US, such device could be of massive benefit to them.

Skin Bacteria to Prevent Cancer in Future

Many people may find it strange, but skin bacteria could be your first force of defense against deadly cancers. Of late, Richard Gallo, professor at University of California San Diego in the US, has confirmed that the skin layering called of Staphylococcus epidermidis found on human skin inhibit the growth of cancerous cells inside human body. The bacteria release a chemical “6-N-hydroxyaminopurine (6-HAP)” that kill several type of cancerous cells inside the skin itself.

The Skin microbiome (bacteria) produce antimicrobial peptides that is capable of fighting against pathogenic bacteria. Similarly, 6-HAP can be used to prevent cancer and inhibit the further growth of cancerous cells inside the skin. In the United States, around 1 million skin cancer cases are reported with most of them around 94% of the same relate to non-melanoma skin cancer. This type of cancer happen due to overexposure of skin to the UV rays emanating from sunlight.

A team of scientists discovered the S. epidermidis strain that creates 6-N-hydroxyaminopurine (6-HAP) compound. It is well known that 6-HAP is a biological molecule preventing the spread of transformed tumor cells leading to lower chance of developing skin tumors in humans.

Research Study Conducted on Mice is Successful

A research on mice disclosed that intravenous injections (IV) of 6-HAP every 48 hours over 15 days lead to no toxic effects. However, when the same diffused with melanoma cells in mice, the size of the tumor reduced by 50 %.

There is increasing evidence that the skin microbiome is an important element of human health. In fact, we previously reported that some bacteria on our skin produce antimicrobial peptides that defend against pathogenic bacteria such as, Staph aureus. In the case of S. epidermidis, it appears to also be adding a layer of protection against some forms of cancer, said Gallo, spearheading the research on this subject.

Another team of experts conducted their experiments on the possible relation between skin bacteria and cancer at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Their molecular research on Staphylococcus epidermidisproduce again confirmed that the bacteria do prevent skin cancer in reality. As many as around 9000 people die every year in the US due to skin cancer. Such research will be extremely vital towards protecting these precious lives on time.

The American Academy of Dermatology, cautioned that around 20% of the Americans are likely to develop some sort of skin problems including growth of cancerous cells at one point in time in their lives. It happens due to over exposure of the skin to UV rays of sunlight alongside the humongous amount of toxic environment in the US. These research studies will definitely throw more light on how to prevent the Americans from falling prey to deadly Cancers.

The Research is Underway to Discover More on this Subject

The auto-produce of skin bacteria that are capable of producing specialized chemicals actually immunizes the patients and inhibits the growth of cancerous cells. Strangely enough, these chemicals are not poisonous for human skin at all.

Dr. Gallo pointed out that more study on this interesting development is underway and some more breakthrough can be expected in the next few days. Now, the focus is to know the formation of 6-HAP and then determine if a reduction in the chemical could invite skin cancer risk or any quantity of the chemical produced inside skin is all-effective to prevent skin melanoma.

How Favorable is it?

Portable housing in an urban area is a problem, at least for now. The parking space that it requires and the constant torture of overpopulation in cities could be a big hurdle to your peaceful space inside the portable house.

Most of the people take their portable houses to open areas where there is hardly any problem with respect to space. It is more favourable and livable. Maybe down the line, the governments will find a way to make way for parking for portable housing, won’t that be incredible?

Do what you want to do. Even if you choose to come back for the unsuccessful adventure with portable housing, you can always dismantle it and back to living like you were and then again the day you want to take it again for a ride, then do it. Given that it is not a trend today, doesn’e mean that it isn’t worth it.
